ACT 1

" The Encounter:

Beautiful, with Gareth Casey.

The Setting:

Our half-cluttered workshop
awaiting migration beyond the boulevard in Montreuil.

The Action:

He immerses himself in the setting,
extracts pieces,
prototypes,
tools made to create tools,
carefully crafted objects and twisted scraps.
His actions speak;
one thinks that words are unnecessary,
though it's both true and untrue.
He says we're going to play and that,
for instance,
we need to "weld" these elements together.
When he utters that word,
sewing,
welding,
and maybe even lightning combine!
We succumb.

And afterwards, we began to weld.
